if i eat 500 caloires a day for 4 days

will i lose weight ?

  2. No, you won't.

    Your weight will temporarily dip, but you will be back to normal within a few weeks.

    By doing that, you convince your body that it should be storing energy, so when you stop, it takes a little while for your body to realize it isn't starving any more. Also, your body naturally tries to return to its comfortable weight (the weight you are at when not on a diet, ie, right now) when you crash-diet. You have to keep the weight off for awhile so your body stops trying gain back to normal and accepts your new weight as normal. (That's why most diets don't work - the minute you go off the, your body works to get you back to your pre-diet weight because it feels that is what it should be at).
