.......around or about?

Is it true that you can say "I will be there about 7" but not "I will be there around 7" ? Both seem quite allright to me, but now I am not sure.

  1. Either way is correct although, to me, about 7 means you will be there some time close to 7 and around 7 means you could be there just before or just after 7.


  2. about 7 means you will be there pretty much on or before 7. Around 7 means it could be before or after 7.

  3. around means approximately such as,  It's around five o'clock.

    about means near such as, It's about six o'clock.
