  1. There is not a cure for Arthritis, but there are several operations and medicines that TREAT arthritis.

    First, the medicines:

Co-Codamol: Contains Codine. A drug used to soothe severe bone and muscle pain, cannot cure but can treat arthritis.
Morphine: A shot of Morphine. Only to be used under GP or Nurse supervision. This will impact by soothing the cause of the pain, but it cannot cure it, used for osteo-porosis and arthritis.
Codinaprol: Contains Codine and Paracetamol. Very similar to Co-Codamol but Codinaprol is used for smaller cases of arthritis.
Mendine I: Contains Mendine and a small does of Ibuprofen. Mendine is used for soothing bone pain, and Ibuprofen is an extra dose of pain-killer.
Nurofen: Contains Ibuprofen. A normal pain-killer. Can be bought over the counter and shouldn't be used long term, but can ease pain.
Paracetamol (500 mg or higher): A strong dose of Paracetamol. Like Nurofen (see above) can help ease pain.

There are also a few operations doctors and specialists can do:

The Butterfly Operation: An operation that puts metal tubes into the area, to support the bone. Works for about 10 years.
The Bone Stretch Operation: ONLY TO BE APPLIED IN SEVERE CASES SUCH AS CHRONIC BONE MARROW LOSS OR INFURIATING NASUEA OR PAIN. To stretch the bone about 10mm longer, and apply more marrow or metal tubes to the area. Works for about 10-15 years, and it can also make you taller, by as much as 1 inch!!
