  1. Hello Natalie

    My great uncle Arthur Hickman was a local artist in the Rotherham area and I believe that he was quite a prolific  painter. I know little about the value of his work but my mother has some of his water colours. He worked in Rotherham in the drawing office at Gilchrest & Chrimes and I have it on good authority that when the last trams were removed from the streets Arthur was called to the tram sheds to sketch the trams and that is in the Rotherhm archives. He died in 1987.
