Question:

--bmx freestyle bike?--?

I was looking at the new redline 2008 device frame, and i was wondering what brand wheels, chain, pegs, brakes, etc...etc... I should get so that it will end-up being a great bike that wont be an insane amount of money.

Just stick to a complete unless you are willing to dish out a lot of money.  The Device frame is $340.  Cranks are going to cost at least $100 for something reliable.  Bars and a stem will be around $100.  A fork is going to start around $100.  You're looking at a minimum of around $130 or so for a cassette rear wheel and a front wheel is going to start off around $80.  You're already well over $800 and would still need a fork sprocket, pedals, pegs, a seat/post/clamp, brakes, a headset, chain, tires/tubes, grips,

    It all comes down to how much you want to spend, a complete is going to be much more cost friendly in the time being.  Down the road that usually isn't true, but if you don't have enough money to buy solid components I wouldn't suggest building a bike yourself that won't be very reliable.  Fit, Kink, We The People, FBM, Integral, Stolen, and some other brands have solid completes in a wide spread price range over at www.danscomp.com so check those out.
