  1. You should try to avoid using anything with large amounts of ink as the hampster will chew and ingest the ink. It is possible for the chemicals in the ink to make your hampster sick or worse. I would stick with plain cardboard and use as little tape as possible. You can also buy very inexpensive plastic houses to avoid the potential problems all together.

  2. u can use it itnot veryy good if it does eat it i dont think it wil eat the tape because it is sticky c if u can gat just a normal plain box nice idea though

  3. Cardboard box as the hamster nest is a good idea as it gives your hamster the option of a nest along with a toy for chewing and gnawing. However most hamsters are very attracted to cardboard stuff for their gnawing and chewing, so your hamster has all probability of chewing on her house. If it is the Mars chocolate packing cardboard, is it the one with the colour print on it. If yes, please do not use it as the inks might be toxic to the hamster when she chew on the cardboard. The cardboard you use must be plain and unprinted like the toilet roll tubes. There have been cases of hamsters chewing on the tapes used for sticking and having problems from ingesting it so I would advise you not to use the tapes. I use cardboard houses for my hamster too but cut it out in such a way from a single carton so that I do not need to use tapes for joining them, maybe you can try to do the same.

  4. NOOO dont use a carboard house horrible i dea yes she can. my (unfortunatly) hamster is still escaping from her cage... but my friend just texted me and said that her rats escaped too with a mother load of tape. there are pet shops with specials where the cages are only 15$ to 60$ another thing is give her/he a small chunk of wood to chew on she probably is trying to find a 'chew toy' to naw down her teeth.

Just a tip maybe two or three 1. buy a ball. its okay to leave them in there over night. so that u can sleep. 2 buy a real cage 3.  YOU CANT TEACH THEM ANYTHING no matter what mommy says ... lol jk You can also use a glass cage

  5. The cardboard box is fine but the tape isn't.  Just get another box and open the lid or rip one side of and put some bedding inside - just don't use any glue or sticky tape.
