Changing the regulator to accomodate the different pressure of LP gas is the first step, but you must also change each burner's o*****e to a smaller size, becuse of the higher pressure and fuel content of the LP gas. The manufacturer should be able to supply you with this correct parts, assuming you speak to a representative/service person who knows what they are talking about. You must also change the oven o*****e.
On some ranges, there is a small packet of brass orifices, with an included instruction sheet that will identify which burner needs which brass o*****e, usually color coded, sometimes numbered. The manual for the unit should be followed closely to convert the range to LP.
If you have any doubts about how to do this, DON'T DO IT. Get a competant technician to do the change to LP.
