What are possibilities for Social Media Marketing?

I am checking the market possibility to sell my service. The service might be social network marketing for customer's sites/blogs. In other words, I mean promoting sites/blogs for pay. It might be posting comments on social media about the customer's site (not spam but substantial comment linking to the promoted site/blog).
What do you think of such a market? Is there demand for such a service?
