To add to the previous response, you pet should always feel safe and comfortable going to the groomer!  If your pet has clipper rash and was shaking then they are NOT being properly taken care of.  You pet should come home from grooming happy, clean and properly trimmed.  My advice to you is to get RID of that horrible groomer and find someone else who is trustworthy, knowledgeable and friendly! Don't be afraid to ask questions to your groomer.  Find out if they went to grooming school. Ask to stay while your pet is groomed until you are comfortable leaving your pet.  Pets can not tell us what happens when we leave them.  It is very important that they have a good safe experience at the groomers!
