clogged skimmer line

hello there, i would try this, get your self a compressor, remove the drian plug from the pump and hook it up close you maind drain, return and skimmer lines. turn the compressor on and watch the pressure gage on top of the filter, when it reaches 30psi shut the compressor off and quickly open the skimmer valve. call a pool company they will be able to do it with a higher Psi by cutting the pipe try old dominion pools, not sure where you are located they are in annandale va. good luck
