A Dac report is to a truck driver, what a credit report is to a consumer.  It is the means by which everything about your commercial driving history is maintained and easily accessible by potential employers, or for a fee, by you.  Info in it, includes such things as any traffic violations, accidents, employer history, endorsements, Any drug test failures, or even the refusal to take one.  It's a good idea to obtain one on yourself, especially when applying for another job.  It sure would be nice to know what your previous employer may have said about you.
