equestrian farm stay

Hi Don,
I'm currently studying in Auckland but want to get out of the city for a break and I'd really like to get back in the saddle and on to a farm. I have plenty of horse experience, but I'm only looking for about 10 days accommodation in return for work. Do farm stay hosts usually accept workers for such short periods of time? And if so, could you point me in the right direction of where to look? I'd prefer North Island, but I'm not particularly picky otherwise.

The weather on the farm houses is perfect for all type of indoor and outdoor activities and visitors can create peaceful groups outside on the grass and under the shady trees to participate in the various programs each had to share.
