With this stock, EXPEW "Expedia Inc. warrant to purchase one half of one" What does this mean exactly?

How does it differ from EXP (expedia)

Check out the definition of "warrants" from http://www.investopedia.com .  I work for Expedia/Hotels.com and Barry Diller (a media mogul who owns a majority interest - 60%) still wants to break this company into 5 different companies within the next 5 years.
