(for women) would you spend all your paycheck to shop or you saved half of it?

When you got paycheck from your job such as $320 for first week,what did you spend for?

Answer 1

First my income is deducted for taxes, health care premiums, and deposits to my 401K. I budget the remainder of my income like this:

35% is directly deposited into my savings account

30% goes to rent and utilities

10% goes to gas and parking fees

10% goes to food and beverage

15% goes to shopping, entertainment, miscellaneous

This system works well for me.

3. Save and Maybe spend

Most of the women I know do the same thing with their paychecks as most of the men I know -- they use them to pay their bills.

Is it different where you are? Do only the men have expenses and bills?
