1. pls see a doctor.

getting professional help is better then asking questions here and trying out as trial n error.

  2. NO, afraid not, you will need to buy some rid lice shampoo, treat your hair according to directions on package, use the comb to comb out as many eggs as possiable, it will not get them all you will have to have someone help you, you will actually have to go thru and pick out the rest one by one, then you will have to repeat this process in ..i think its 7 days... read the box it tells you. In ADDITION and this is IMPORTANT you will have to clean your home, beddings, clothes, couches, ect, wash clothes and make sure they are in dryer atleast 20 mins, buy the rid spray, spray your mattress, pillows, couches, ect anything you can not wash and DRY, make sure you vaccum.

flat ironing your hair is not gonna be enough, i am sorry. you could miss a egg which will end up hatching and layin more eggs and you will have them all over again, the actual lice bug may not be in your hair whn you iron it mayh be waiting in your bed. This is nothing to cut corners with unless you want a reaccuring problem.

here are some facts about lice for you:

Nits (the eggs of the head louse) are small yellowish-white, oval-shaped eggs that are "to the side of a hair shaft glued" at an angle

Nits must be laid by live lice. You cannot "catch nits."

Once laid, it takes 7-10 days for a nit to hatch, and another 7-10 days for the female to mature and begin laying her own eggs.

Head lice are clear in color when hatched, then quickly develop a reddish-brown color after feeding.

Head lice are about the size of sesame seeds.

Head lice have six legs equipped with claws to grasp the hair.

Head lice are crawling insects. They cannot hop, jump, or fly.

Head lice do not thrive on pets.

Head lice are small, wingless insects which feed on human blood. They need human blood in order to survive.

Head lice live for approximately 30 days on a host and a female louse may lay up to 100 nits (eggs).

i hope this helps and good luck with this .... i know its ruff from experiance!

  3. Not. Try drowning them in baby oil. Leave it in your hair for 5 minutes, and then use a lice comb.

  4. Where'd you hear that?

I honestly don't think they do.

  5. no, u have to use a special comb to scrape them out
