im going on holiday in september from newcastle (uk) to benidorm (spain) for a week and there is 3 adults going, how many cigarettes will you be allowed to bring back?

  1. The accepted figure, as a guide, seems to be 3200 cigarettes (16 packs of 200).   Above this figure it is likely you could be asked to explain the reasons etc., and you could be questioned even below this figure.   Much depends, if questioned, on when your previous trip was.

  2. 9600 ciggies in total. You will need to spread them evenly between the three of you or you may have some of them confiscated at customs. Remember to buy "duty paid", the ones with the wee stickers on the back of the pack.

  3. 3,200 cigarettes is the full allowance for each adult.

    The trouble is that it is 16 cartons each and they take up a lot of room in your baggage.  It will cost you around about £400 each if you buy the full allowance.
