  1. It is definetly overrated

Be ready to spend more than $100+

Honestly its really not worth it if your looking for real, authentic Chinese food. Its somewhere you go for 'people watching' and not for the food. If your into the whole celebrity thing, you'll probably spot a few in there. Be sure to book a month in advance if possible, but even then you might end up waiting 30 minutes for a table. Its really crowded and noisy inside. The waiters also like ordering the food for you, so if you do go, please ask for a menu.

You can read more reviews here and decide if you want to go or not: http://losangeles.citysearch.com/review/...

I think you'd be better somewhere else like Dan Tana's though

  2. Like the girl Lauren, I heard the place is overrated and the food is not that good, too.  You can probably find a good restaurant that is a third of that price.

FYI: Don't just go to places because it seems like the "Hollywood" thing to do.

  3. minimum $100 a head, even for lunch. Even a salad is $60..its worth trying at least once imo. However it more hype (celebrities) then anything. So, to be safe $250 including tip and don't forget to bring cash for the valet.

  4. Honesly ive heard the food isnt that great, ive never been but my friends have and they are foodies as well. I know of someone that went just to look cool and didnt have enought for her tab because it was $200 for one person. Its just your adverage chinese food. Its comparable to twin dragon in west LA, but they charge less than half the price and its also an LA landmark.
