A cat climbing tower?! Seriously? Think you might be on the wrong page mate. However if I was to build a cat climbing tower my focus would be on cat safety. Have the cats got the appropriate safety harness, are they wearing hard helmets? What is the purpose of this cat climbing tower? Conditioning them for a go at Everest? Perhaps show the cats a copy of the film "Cliffhanger" staring the fantastic Mr Sylvester Stallone first to get them mentally prepared for the assent.
