  1. France no longer has a ruler. It had a revolution followed by Napoleon's rule (he called himself Emporer) but he was defeated.

Italy also no longer has a royal family

Queen Elizabeth II is married to Prince Phillip who was previously part of the Greek royal family but had to give up any claim to that title in order to marry her.

There have been a number of queens of England/UK/British Empire/Commonwealth

Queens in their own right included

    Mary 1553 - 1558

Elizabeth I 1558 - 1603 (they were daughters of Henry VIII

Mary 1689 - 1694(wife of William III - they ruled jointly)

    Anne 1702 - 1714

    Victoria 1837 - 1901

    Elizabeth II 1952 -

The Dukes are mostly based in England or the UK with only a few holding titles pertaining to lands in other areas of the Commonwealth.

Most of the foreign lands who still hold allegance to the UK are part of the Commonwealh.

The only countries which technically belong to the UK are England, Scotland (which has been part of it officially since James I of England and VI of Scotland attained the throne of England in 1603 as he was the closest non-catholic heir to Elizabeth I), Ireland and Wales (which is technically a principality - hence Prince Charles' title Prince of Wales)

  2. France had a revolution and don't have a king, Italy doesn't have a king but don't know when they got rid of theirs.  The Queen of England is married the Phillip who is Greek - don't understand the rest of your ramble!

  3. The King of France and King of Italy no longer exist. The French monarchy was abolished since Charles X, who was the last King of France and was overthrown during the French Revolution of 1830. This happened exactly 178 years ago, and France has been a republic ever since. This also applies to the Italian monarchy, which was abolished since Umberto II, who was the last King of Italy and he voluntarily renounced the title of King of Albania in 1946.

There had only been a handful of English Queens, who reigned over England between 1125 and 1714. None of these "Queens of England" married a French or an Italian King. Their husbands were either German, Spanish, Dutch and Danish. The current Queen of the United Kingdom is Elizabeth II, who married her second cousins, once removed of German descent. The previous Queen of the United Kingdom was Victoria, who also married her first cousin of German descent.

  4. There was only one Queen Elizabeth of England, that was Queen Elizabeth the first.

  5. France hasn't had a king for over a hundred years.  Italy hasn't had a king since Mussolini took power.  The Queen of England is married to Prince Philip, who isn't king of anywhere.
