looking at buying a new house and the smallest bedroom is this size 9'0''x7'11'' ive no idea how 2 work it out is this tiny or a fair size ive got a 6month old baby 2 think of and dnt want him sleeping in a box sorta speak its sold as seen so prob would need a bit of work done

Its a small bedroom by any measure....only really suitable as a nursery or a small single...a bed is normally 4' wide and 6' long, so you would have about 18" spare on each side which is enough for a bedside cabinet at either side and a small wardrobe at the end....Its OK if you have a couple of other bedrooms.

  3. i would not call it a bedroom,,more of a walk in closet--- does it have a window???

  4. Average person is around 5'6" so if you were to lay down and reach your arms out, that would be about 7' or so, which is really quite small. Not a lot of room to put a cot or cupboards and still walk around easily.

  5. that size room is normally called a box room it is ok for a toddler but would be no good when they reach there teens but by then you may be in a more secure financial position to buy a larger property hope this helps oh and good luck with your young one
