  1. it is the pilsburry doughboy effect on the rubber roller. For a fast temporarry fix, just squeeze the roller on the sides to swell it up a bit.  That may improve things a bit.

  2. Here's the info that Trans-Act gave me:
"   The price for that part is $4.68.  The Epic 950 OEM Integration Manual and the Epic 950 Spare Parts Guide can be found on our Epic 950 Product Information Page on our website in .PDF format at http://www.transact-tech.com/products/ithaca_epic950_info.html.  The reason I asked to see what firmware was in your Epic 950 printer is because I know we had an issue with a certain firmware where the ticket wasn’t coming out all the way on the 950, and we had an updated firmware to fix that issue to eject the ticket out further, but the firmware you have is fine, so I don’t believe its firmware related.  It very well could be that the rollers are worn down at the front end of the printer, which can also cause this issue."
I believe is 95-04904 and the part name is ASSY-EPIC 950 DRIVE SHAFT
