My lacie hard drive was almost full so i deleted about 8GB of material to make room for new files, but having deleted the file the hard drive did not register that any more free space was available. Its like the register is broken or something . ever heard of this problem before? could it also have anything to do with the fact I had started using it with my new mac lap top - in the past i have only ever used it with my old mac lap top. Is my external hard drive about to give up completely? I bought it in 2003 but never had a problem with it before? it's a lacie d2 Hd 120 gb FW DV
