 Well according to the USA Box office the top three movies of all time include:

1. Avatar released in 2009 and got the net profit of $760,505,847. 

2. Titanic released in 1997 and got the net profit of $600,779,824

3. The Dark Knight  in 2008 which got the net profit of $533,316,061.

But according to me the top 3 movies that would entertain guys include:

1. Gladiator

2.  Old School

3. Transformers

While for girls I would suggest these chick flicks:

1. While You Were Sleeping (1995)

2. Bridget Jones Diary (2001)

3. My Sassy Girl released in 2001 (Japan) and in 2008 in USA.

Top three comedy movies of all time:

1. Superbad

2. Hot Fuzz

3. The Simpsons Movie
