3. Ingrid, Helen and Mary Jo seem very old, like an old old lady name.

(and my opinion, any middle name like "Jo" is a little 'country' for me.

But I LOVE Lillie, Sarah and Miriam. Sarah is a very traditional name, many people have it. Miriam is very different and pretty! And Lillie is just plain cute! My favorite is Lillie!

    Beautiful choices!

  4. I agree with Ingrid, Rosamund, Helen, Sarah, and Miriam.

Mary is classy but Mary Jo is country. Lillie is too cutesy to be elegant.

Yousee a ggod strong name is good for a girl because if she ever ends up with a small Last name she can always look forward to having a strong birthright her name. thats what my mother told me you can never take a woman's first name.

  10. Sofia

    Catherine

    Elisabeth

    Isabelle

  11. Sarah is very common, not elegant. So is Helen. Everything else I don't really like (sowwie)!

When I hear names like that, I think rich. So if the child isn't rich or anywhere close to it it won't really fit unless you live in an upscale neighborhood. Maybe.

    Good luck!

  12. Lady Malande

    Mother Shahraz

    Gathios the Shatterer

    Illidan Stormrage

  16. I like two of the names you listed, think two are okay and dislike three.

I do not associate names with characteristics, just as I do not believe in using a name because of its meaning (the person makes the name, not the other way around).

Gwendalyn (the name of my youngest daughter) is a name that I think of as elegant and classy.

  17. The ones I like:

    Lillie - delicate/ sweet

    Sarah - graceful

Not so keen with the others:

    Rosamund - european weightlifter

  19. 1)Do you want your daughter to get killed? Sorry but those are REALLY oldschool.

3)I LOVE Sarah, but it IS really common(it's my name)

Try Andrea (pronounced ON-DRE-UH) or Serena

    ADORABLE

  20. Ingrid, Lily, Helen and Miriam are very good names. I can imagine a woman with one of these names to be strong.

In terms of elegant, I like royal names. They're the sort of names we're looking at for our daughter. So for example, Catherine, Anne, Mary, Margaret, Elizabeth - or my nanna's name Marjorie Clare (she was always called Clare). Anyway, I hope that helps!

  24. I absolutely love Ingrid and Mary Jo.

Ingrid - Well, Ingrid Michaelson (singer). I absolutely love her. She's bubbly and adorable, once you see her live you literally fall in love. She's extremely witty and talented. (You convinced yet?)

Rosamund - I prefer Rosalie or Rosabelle. I don't like the -mund part. My dog's name is Rosabelle.

Lillie - Cute, but it's becoming common. I imagine a cute little girl bouncing around and very smart.

Mary Jo - A wise person with great intuition.

Helen - It really reminds me of an older person, but it's pretty.

Sarah - Too common, quiet and very shy.

Miriam - Cute, loud, friendly, popular. It's a cute name, I like Mir as a nickname.

    Elegant:

    Ingrid

    Lillie

    Miriam

    Helen

  25. Don't really care for any of them. However, I like Elizabeth, Hope, and Pilar.
