On a ride atleast 20 miles. What are the ride conditions (inclines, declines, mostly flat.....windy? frequent stops?) and what is your bike set-up? How long have you been riding? Do you compete? Complete rider profile would be appreciated (age, s*x, height and weight, experience, CAT 5,4,3,2,1 or PRO?)

  1. Well, let's see. I've been riding all my life. I'm 52.

    I can average about 20 m.p.h. over a closed 60 mile course.

    Rolling hills in southeast Arizona.

I don't race or belong to a club. I rarely ride with a group

(although I will ride Tour De Tucson again this year.

I ride a '96 Bianchi- steel frame, Campy gruppo, Campy

wheels. Nothing special, and a bit heavy, but very

comfortable. I tend to push a big gear, so I ride a 52

up front and the smallest available cogset in back.

    23-12 I think.

I feel like I can still hang with the average younger rider,

but I'm not even close to a fast CAT rider.

    I also mountain bike regularly.

  2. You don't want much do you ?
