i'm a girl n i read lots of shonen manga i told my friends n some of their reactions were like "wtf comics? that's a guys thing!" is it really that wierd?

no way! i'm OBSsESED with anime and manga like naruto, bleach, death note, you name it, i love it!!! ^_^ your friends just don't understand the world of an otaku like you and me!!!! maybe you can make them try it, and they'll end up loving it too! that's what i did! my friends used to not get any of the stuff, but now we're otaku pals!!

Of course it's not weird. The entire shoujo category is geared towards girls. Not to say either genders can't enjoy shonen, shoujo, josei, or even seinen but each have there own main target audience. Everyone is free to read whichever they enjoy most.

NOT AT ALL! For me, that's something I would definitely love in a girl.  And they aren't comics! I would punch your friend! Haha.  Keep on reading, mangas can be read by anyone, don't listen to other people and what's "normal."  You do whatever you like too, don't let people change your interests.
