A.  production of ovum is cyclic, but sperm is made all the time.  It can't be a then

B  Storage of gametes occurs in similar structures.  I don't think the ovaries and testicles are similar.  Can't be B.

C.  gonads produce gametes and hormones.  Might be this one.

D.  We already ruled out the first part of this in A.

That leaves C as the most likely answer.
