hi all ive converted my house into 2 flats & need a second gas and elecric supply the waiting list is upto 8weeks...but hear that national grid isnt the only company that can lay the gas and elec supply part thanks to all that help

The thing about monopolies is that you don't have any alternative. I have had to lay on a temporary lpg supply when I was in a similar situation and had a tenant lined up. It pays to get your utilities sorted when you start the job, not at the end.
