  1. No you do NOT! It's his wall, you have no right to touch it, no matter how unsightly.  However, you've probably done him a favour . . .

  2. Fences can be a bit of a minefield when it comes to 'ownership'. If it's fully on his land, so it doesn't overlap onto your property at all, then you usually can't do a thing about it. It's his property on his land.

But if it is, say, half on yours, and half on his land. Then you should be able to do something. I'd say thats why he got the surveyor, to make sure it was fully on his land. If this is the case, you can't do much to it.

However, you should check with your local city/town/council/shire/county authority, whoever looks after building permits, and make sure he had the right permits to build the wall. Usually you need some sort of permission for any construction. They can also advise on your rights in reference to what you can do to the wall.

    Hope this helps some...

  3. no as it is on his property and his wall you have no rights to attach anything to it without thier permision

If he was a very awkward person he could make you take the render off and pay for any damage

Having said that he must be a twit as it has strenghtend his wall and also made it more weatherproof

  4. i would not think you have the right to touch his wall
