-pout- im not allowed to wear tampons and i have school tomorrow!?

my mom wont let me wear tampons because of tss. its very rare but she still wont let me! I'm about to cry because of these cramps! i cant sleep! i have school tomorrow and I'm heavy! i have gym class and when I'm on my period i can barely move! what the h**l do i do!?!?!??!?!?!?! -starts to cry- i hate being a girl!!!!!!!!! i hate this time of the month! :(((

You seriously need to calm down and be reasonable.  You can't let your period control your life.  Take some painkillers, keep some fresh pads with you, and just deal with it.  There's nothing you can do.  If you can talk your way out of sitting out of gym then go for it.  If not, just deal.  We all do it.  It sucks.  But it's not the end of the world, even it seems like it right now.

Don't let having your period limit you.

when you get to school, just go to the nurse or gym teacher and get a tampon and just don't tell your mom that you used one.

just give it time.

but sometimes with me its better off not to wear tampons when im really heavy cuz i leak. so just wear a pad and if you really feel terrible in the morning or when you have gym just dont participate unless its really important that you do. then just do the best you can in gym.

wearing tampons wont make the cramps go away. theyre just a simpler way to take care of your period. although i hate the fact that i cant p**s whenever the h**l i want to.

hey relax, take some advil or mydol, dont drink anything ice cold and take it easy. for gym, jsut say you arent feeling well, (cause you arent. . . )

and if you have your heart that set on using tampons then go buy them yourself.

It's okay sweetie!! Don't be too hard on yourself nobody enjoys this time of the month. Try calmly explaining to her that pads aren't ideal, if you dont whine and try to act calm and polite she'll give you a shot

what i would do would go to the store on my own and buy some.

hide them and make sure she doesnt notice them.

if you cant buy them then ask a friend if you can give her money and she can buy some for you.

follow ALL directions on the box and dont leave them in for more than 8 hours.

Ummm.... "The Suburbans Suck" Chick... what the h**l are you talking about that you "can't p**s when you want" that has nothing to do with tampons... you don't put it in the hole that you pee out of.... I agree with others though... i've been on mine since I was 11.. i'm 21 now.  My mom wouldn't let me either... i borrowed some from friends or even teachers that i was close with.  Do some research on TSS and sit down and then talk to her about it. She'll be impressed that you did research on it and maybe consider it.
