  1. In order to become a prosecuting attorney you need a bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice. You also need a law degree which is referred to as a JP. You need 4 years of undergraduate study and 3 years of law school. Once you obtain your bachelor's degree you can register with the Law School Admissions Council (LSAC) and take the Law School Admissions Test (LSAT). You may want to study behavioral science as part of your curriculum. Another good course is business communications, and writing classes. Philosophy is another good class to get into for this as well. I am studying criminal justice myself. I go through the University of Phoenix, Axia College. All of my work and studying is done online and it is great for me. It is easier and it takes less time to earn your degree than what it does going to a regular school. I want to be an ATF agent and the University of Phoenix is the only school that is staff recommended by ATF agents. There are several other schools as well. Good luck!
