  1. Depends on if d**k Cheney is in the area.

  2. There are statistics on this that are kept by several people out there.  The fact is, hunting fatalities are very low and when one does happen, it is overly exploited by those with a political agenda.  The NRA has a lot of data on this and pretty much concludes that driving on an Interstate at night is more hazardous than hunting.

  3. I don't know the exact number but I am sure that if you contact the NRA, they will have that statistic for you.

  4. Well the last numbers I saw were extremely low.According to the US sports injuries for 2002, out of 20,145 total injuries in all sports 207 were hunting related. Only 103 required ER trips. Ahunters odds of getting killed in the field are .0035%

  5. It is very unlikely as long as you hunt safely and are safety minded.

In Wisconsin, we usually have a death or two each deer season but the circumstances are either pathetic and or they include alcohol.   The most common ones are intoxicated hunters falling from tree stands. Aside from those we have had a few homicides over disputes of tresspassing onto private hunting land.  Some other cases are usually poor firearm handling, like pulling a loaded firearm on a rope into a tree stand through tree branches.

  6. Nobody really keeps up with how many hunters are in the field on a given day, so exact statistics are hard to come by, but it's bound to be under 0.001%. As a point of interest, the two most common causes of hunting-related mortality are motor vehicle accidents on the way to or from hunting, and falling out of tree stands. Being shot is a vanishingly small likelihood.

  7.   % .0001, Unless you shoot yourself in the foot.

  8. depends on a lot of things . age , falling out of a deer stand , shooting yourself , someone shooting you , and alcohol . maybe 2.33 % chance at the most.

  9. Hunting is an exceptionally safe sport. That is generally because the vast majority of hunters are responsible individuals who practice firearm safety at all times. See the link below for more details, you can get all the specific details you'd like there.

Don't let a few bad stories here and there fool or scare you. Hunting is not only safe, it is a great adventure for men and women of all ages.

  10. The odds are probably at least 99.999% better than a hunter being killed by some damfool in traffic on the way TO the huntin' grounds! ! (LMFAO!)
