    model 1886 Winchester lever.  Not sure but I believe 45/90.  

    and Model 1895 Winchester lever in 405 Win, this was his " Big Medicine"

    and favorite lion gun

  5. Depends on what period of his life you are talking about. He loved Winchester rifles in the big-bore calibers undoubtedly. Ive have read he was particularly fond of these three through his lifetime.

    Winchester 1895 in .405 Winchester "big medicine"

    The one he is most affiliated with is the 1895.
