" Need help in connecting to internet "

Question

i have destop computer whcih has internet connected to it. How can i get connected to internet on my laptop using the same internet package ? i want i internet to be in both..pc and laptop...can anyone tell me how it is done please.your help will be apprieciated...

Some packages come with wireless connections. Call your service provider and ask if your connection supports wireless connections ( modem or router) already connected. Usually not but some companies are supplying modems with wireless capabilities built in. If not you need to buy a wireless router. This assuming that you have wireless capabilities on the notebook. If not you can still connect via the wireless router by one of two methods. Connect the system to the router via the Ethernet cable plugged into the Big Pone Jack type thing (ethernet connector) on the notebook, or you can buy a wireless usb adaptor which will cost from $ 18 to $59 depending on the brand you buy. And just plug that into your usb connector on the notebook. Install the software (if any) and you may need to call your service provider for any connection problems. They are usually pretty helplful.

well hopefully your laptop supports wifi..............so then you would need to buy a wireless router for your desktop..........hook that up..and use your laptop to connect via wireless.

if your laptop doesn't support wifi................go and buy the wireless router as well as an USB type of connector that connects the laptop with the wireless router
