"... in Death" books by J.D. Robb...help!?

Question

What is Roarke's last name? Or if Roarke is his last name like his dad, what is his first name? Why didn't Eve take Roarke's last name. I know that "Dallas" is a made-up last name because of where she came from, I'm curious about Roarke. Also, in my head, I picture Gerard Way as Roarke...lol

Roarke doesn't have a last name it is his last name.  I believe his father was named Patrick Roarke, and he just took the surname.  Eve is her own person and I don't think she would have ever taken the last name of anyone she married.  Her character has used the name she was given to become who she is, I don't see her ever changing that.  Have you read all of the In Death books?  This is probably my number 1 series that I read.  I'll have to look up a pic of Gerard Way to see what he looks like.  A great way to meet up with other ID fans is the website:  www.indeath.net
