  1. anything over 90hp

  2. I would recommend somewhere between a 115hp and 150hp depending on your budget. Of course if you have unlimited funds you could go as large as a 200hp if the rating plaque will allow it.

  3. just a 25hp motor..

  4. Maximun HP for the boat is listed on the transom plate. If you want performance, that is the size to use.

  5. anything less than 130 on that particular boat will be a real hog it will go but you will have no performance and economy will suffer besides that boat will handle lots of people and gear so the LOAD is what determines your hp. I have two customers with that SAME boat both have 150's they say it performes just perfect for an all around family/fishing boat

  6. hi on the boat it should have a small plate saying.  max people max wieght and max engine HP.   It depends on the strenth of the transom.  and the weight of the boat.

Look for that plate its either on the transom or near the stearing wheel.  If you have no luck   then try a northwood dealer . Be wary....  over power the boat and it will tear off the transom and too heavy a motor will drag the back end under.

Be safe so get intouch with the dealer like the one below and they will direct you as to who you need to talk to and what engine would be best...  ( then look for one on ebay or for sale locally unless you wat a brand new one)
