The recipe calls for "4/5" butter. Do they mean four to five sticks or 4/5 of one stick?

  1. probably just the fraction of one stick. 4 or 5 sticks of butter would only make sense if you were making a recipe to feed a small army!

  2. It's says 4/5 cup Butter.  Read it a little slower.

That means four-fifths of a cup.

  3. never heard of 4/5 cup butter and i am not sure how to convert 200 grams
