“A Night with You”

I am ready to open my wings and fly.

For the first time, I don’t have to ask why.

Each day I see you, my feelings get stronger.

Always wishing I could stay a little longer.

When you look into my eyes,

For the first time, there is no disguise.

Feeling your body against my own,

I no longer feel alone.

As your heartbeat races, you simply kiss me.

You are the only one I can see.

Hearing you whisper soft words into my ear.

You are the only one I can hear.

When the night comes to an end,

It is something that I don’t apprehend.

As we say goodbye, we softly kiss.

My heart is full of joy and simply bliss.
