This is the poem that was used in the beginning of almost every episode of "All My Children." It goes like this:

"The Great and the Least,

The Rich and the Poor,

The Weak and the Strong,

In Sickness and in Health,

In Joy and Sorrow,

In Tragedy and Triumph,

You are ALL MY CHILDREN."

So what does this poem mean?

  1. It means no matter what - if you're rich, weak, healthy, - whatever - we are All My Children - All "Gods" Children.

  2. Its a parents feelings for the child, its their unconditional love. Parents love their children no matter what.

  3. It sounds like it could be a bible verse. But I'm not sure.

  4. I WOULD SAY THAT it meant that the creator of AMC  believed that all of human are all god children regardless of your background, skin color, who you are or looked were all god's children.  but than again maybe you know this.
