Someone said ; 'America isn't ready for a black president'. Thinking about, it is it right to say such a thing - really or really? In what way if so? Its easy to say no and understandably.

[Some time back there was a drama /film on tv about how a black man running for president had something happen to him right before the big day.] As they say change is good.

  1. Extreme racism.  Get real.

  2. most of America is truly ready for a president 'of color'.  as long as that person stand for the values they cherish.

  3. I believe it shows incredible intolerance, for the coloured people are now a huge voice to be heard in the States and throughout the world.

  4. What nonsense.   Obama wouldn't be this close to the Presidency if white America actually had an "issue" with a black man for president.

  5. high time the u.s gave the african american population some recognition for its contribution to the economy and social quality of the nation , i look forward to the day the uk gets real black representation its time the balance was redressed. p.s. i am white just incase anybody needs to know.

  6. It's statements like that that lower the confidence of Americans'

opinions of having the ability to evolve beyond racial bigotry

  7. I hate the racism involved in this election and the criticism. It's crazy seeing somebody of African decent running for President, making it this far, but then again this is the new world; something new we have to try you know?

However, Obama is the whitest black man i've ever seen, haha.

  8. Yes!

  9. Dialtech is typical of the liberal in this country today; rants on and on with no factual basis whatsoever to back it up; but if they throw enough cow patties they hope some of it will stick.

Facts are a Libs worst enemy!

And I have no problem with a black president.  I have a problem with a president who was the most liberal senator in the US senate, who has sponsored no bills, written no major legislation, knows nothing about foreign policy and proves it every time he speaks, was completely wrong about the surge of troops in Iraq, thinks talking directly to people like Putin and Ahmadinejad will solve the issues, has reversed most of his positions from the Dem primary to the General election so as to appear not near as liberal as he really is, voted to let doctors kill children born live after abortions instead of assisting them, got a "deal" on his home from a convicted felon, wouldn't denounce his anti-American pastor until it hurt him politically, and whose policies he is trying to put into place will cost the American taxpayer over $850 billion dollars more than current expenditures, and whose tax policy will raise taxes on all making $31,000 and above (as reported by independent sources) to pay for it all.

All of this is verifiable; just Google it.

  10. Lets just base it on ability not colour!

  11. watch link and understand the truth about the illusion of choice

  12. We ARE ready for a Black President, we are just waiting for the right one. (pun not intended, but a good one nonetheless)

  13. Funny how a black guy from a poor broken family who made his way through school on scholarships and owns one home is being attacked by a silver-spoon fed Navy brat with 7+ mansions and condos who portrays himself as everyman. How can you be pro life and bomb people? McCain is a sad, hypocritical,

greedy Republican speaking blatant lies to the world and offers to willingly lay siege to Iraq & Iran and anyone else that gets in the way in the Middle East.

And why? "Big Oil" and the Republican power brokers run this country. These wealthy & power hungry GOP pigs aren't concerned about being honorable or conservative; they're just full of greed & lust for domination.

  14. Why does race always have to be a factor?

Is he qualified to run? Does he have enough experience to be president?  That's the questions everyone should be worried about.

    In my opinion, no.

But you can bet, if he loses to McCain, you'll hear all the race obsessed people saying it's because he was black.

  15. I think I'm in love with Dialtechd.

  16. I wouldn't know, I've never been to the US, and I have no plans to in the future. I DO know they were still lynching black people there only fifty years ago.

  17. I believe change will be good for us. And from what you said about someone saying "America is not right for a black president",I think it was wrong of that person to say. People need to wake up and accept whatever change happens. Who knows what kind of President Obama will be,but if he is elected we should at least give him a chance.

Hopefully things will get better if Obama is in office. Who knows?

  18. Oh please don't tell me Obama (whatever his name is) is black?? Give over!! He has not, shall we say been over cooked, his only slightly glazed. I mean turn the lights off you wouldn't really need him to smile would you?

However I think he is a genuis politician & deserves to make it to president. I think a black president would be g8 for America whether it is ready is a different matter. The raising of such a question would surely indicate that America is ready for a black president.

  19. Obama is half black and half white.

I personally do not care what package you walk around in, it's your BRAIN and HOW IT THINKS that should be voted upon.
