"Battery Empty" message on Olympus camera.?

Question

I have an Olympus FE 230 and just the other day I turned it on and got a blue screen with "Battery Empty" on it. It shuts off after that. I don't know if the battery is dead. I don't have a charger for it just yet but I just want to know if it's a problem with the camera and not just that the battery is dead. It has a lithium battery. I also want to know if I am able to charge it with the usb cable connected to the computer.

i HAVE THE SAME ISSUE.. I AM SWICHING THE BATTERY AND THE CAMERA GOESEMPTY IN 3 SHOTS..ANY SOLUTIONS?

I have the same problem too.. Can any one help me..?
Its not the problem with the battery because I changed the battery twice. It didn't work.
