"Bones" - who killed the FBI assistant director?

We watch "Bones" when the guest on the Daily Show isn't particularly good. Last night we saw the re-run of Temperance's father's murder trial, in which the young black hot-shot scientist proves Zack wrong. The assistant director of the FBI was murdered by a "miserichord" - a 16th century dagger. The jury clears Temperance's father. It is suggested Temperance did it, maybe.

Fate being what it is, I'll miss the next re-run in the series. Did they every come out and say who really killed the assistant FBI director, or why the FBI wanted Temperance's brother murdered?

  1. Temperance's father was the one who killed him by gutting him and burning him on the roof top. He admitted to it outside of court. But in court in was proved not guilty because of the time scale of the murder, it was possible that Bones could have been the one who murdered the FBI assistant director. So Temperance's father was released until further evidence.

You should watch it, it's a great series.
