okay, i have to make a storyboard on an important episode in the novel Cold Sassy Tree, and i have no idea how to start it.

I'm thinking of doing the Train scene, but i don't know how to figure out what is the exposition, rising action, and that stuff.

help?? pleaseeee. i really dont know what to do.

and by the way, what is a storyboard?

Storyboards are graphic organizers such as a series of illustrations or images displayed in sequence for the purpose of previsualizing a motion graphic or interactive media sequence, including website interactivity. Basically, it's a series of pictures that, when in motion, produce a movie-like effect. Read back over the train scene before starting. The exposition could be when Will climbs onto the train tracks in the first place, and the rising action is when Will realizes that the train is coming.
