Yeah i was wondering if this is any good for rugby training... a few coaches at school use this for other sports. Im a freshmen in highschool, any suggestions/ pointers/ routines that you'd recommend, Im also looking for a decent split body program that will focus mostly on chest and legs, trying to increase my squat and bench. thanks in advance

  2. The guys that do the training for crossfit in my town can run a 5 km (3 miles) in under 20 min, can do over 100 pull ups in a row, can deadlift over 400 lbs, and run a mile close to 4 min. If all of that isn't very good sport specific training for rugby then I don't know what is.

  3. Crossfit is an excellent training program that incorporates different training philosophies that are beneficial for many sports and/or anyone that is training to get into shape.  Look over some of the past workouts (www.crossfit.com) and you'll see that it is a balanced program.  Also, check out http://www.crossfit.com/cf-info/start-ho...  for more info about the program.
