"Do you require an extened re-test?" booking my driving test online, what does this question mean?

I'm trying to book my driving test online, one of the questions I'm being asked is "do you require an extended re-test?(car and bike only)" what does this question mean exactly?

I have failed a driving test once (Today actually) so my next test would be a re-test I suppose, do I need to click "yes"?

No, the extended test is required when you've been banned and the court has ordered you to take one before getting your licence back.  Not relevant to you.

When it comes to stuff like this, there's a rule of thumb:

"If you don't know what it is, you probably don't need to worry about it".
