Can you explain me exactly what is an "Eco-Friendly packaging" CD? Thank you for your help.

  1. They use the minimal amount of packaging necessary and the materials used are 100% recycled! its the way to go :)


  2. Instead of using that goofy plastic CD jewel case that breaks easily the CD is packaged in a recycled cardboard case with only the center made of plastic.  It is a much better design for reasons other than environmental, but the environmental is a bonus.

  3. Eco friendly packaging refers to packaging made of material which is fully bio degradeable. Basically meaning that over time it will dissintegrate, and not end up contributing to the masses of heaving landfill sites across the world, where they just dump waste (thats non bio degradable) into a big hole in the ground.

    Although the irony of having a disc of compressed fossil fuel (oil), encased in plastic (non bio degradable), packaged in an "eco friendly" manner, then shipped all over the globe via hundreds of gas guzzling ships, planes and lorrys, is so severe that Im sure even Americans would get it.

    Not a Live8 CD by any chance is it?....
