"For Here" or "To Go" when...?

Sometimes I go to this great Fast Food place which is usually packed (Fat Burger). When I am in line, I look around at how many other people are in line or waiting for their food and try to estimate if there will be a table for me to sit at once I get my food. What if I say "for here" and then can't find a table?

  1. Ive never been in a packed fast food place? Maybe its where I live! I dont know. Maybe just say for here, and if no table, go outside and have a picnic on your car bumper!

  2. I guess just go back to the counter and ask for a bag and tell them there is nowhere to sit.

  3. That is a dilemma. I used to go to a restaurant that was like that. I went with a friend, and one of us would grab a table while the other got in line and ordered.

If I were alone, I think I'd ask for my food "to go" just in case, and if a there happened to be a table, I'd use it.

  4. wait 4 someone 2 leave!

  5. Bring your own bag and save on taxes?

Go to your car and eat in private?

Take it home and eat it and not have other people watch you stuff your mouth?

  6. Just take it back up to the counter and ask for it to be bagged.  That happens all the time.

  7. just ask for a to go bag and bag it yourself.
