Question:

"Going Green" for newbies?

by  |  earlier

There is a new blog I'm helping to promote. It's not for veterans of the green movements but for newbies looking to make one step at a time. It's done in a way that doesn't give overwhelming amounts of info so that hopefully people will stick with the goal.

Will you help me promote this by sharing it with others you know that wish to grow green but haven't started taking the plunge? It's not a scam, it's not a way to try to get anyone to buy anything (although it does sometimes give links to stores, it's not affiliated with those stores). It's just a way to spread the message thru easy tips and be part of the solution.

  1. I like the site,

If you're looking for contributors, I am very passionate about ridding our homes of all toxic household cleaners and personal care items. It's just one small step that everyone can take to make their lives more healthy. Best of luck!

  2. Hey! Great job with the site. I really like it.

Do you mind if I make one suggestion? In the blog world, it seems like you'll gain a lot more visitors to the site if you post a couple, or even few, times a week.

I know the site is called "Sustainable Sundays," so you want to stick with that theme, but here's an idea: If you do start posting more than once a week to gain visitors, you could post about whatever on regular days, and then on Sundays make a bulleted list with short blurbs about the posts and permalink to them.

Anyway, just a thought. It's what I would recommend as you start to grow traffic.

    Good luck!
