  1. Virtue is its own reward.... the reward in this case is....guess.... yes,

    happiness!  


  2. You can attain virtue through happiness

    (Happiness is doing good for yourself which also means you're thinking for others and thinking of others.)

    but you can't attain virtue through misery.

    (misery is the essence of evil)

    You must be free from all misery before you can be virtuous.

    Otherwise you still have a desire to commit some evil.

    If you practice happiness you can seek out your virtues that are only waiting to be found.


  3. When all your actions are in accord with your values. Values are installed through the religious and cultural upbringing during your childhood years.

  4. When the soul agrees with the virtuous and the good, it is a happy soul.

    IMO, complete virtue is that which absolutely conforms to the values God sets out for us.
