Am 73, serious health problems: 4 lower back, fractured vertebrae, etc.

Lay down for a nap this afternoon - lasted about 1 & 1/2 hrs. Lay on left-side(usual), but lay right arm over left elbow, not so=causes back strain.

In Dream: lived on rental property, in wooded area(actually lived on Russian River in Calif. # of years). Went to see landlady, took younger, somewhat mentally disabled, person(Stevie)along(only "Steve" I know, is doc. at VA)for dinner-?. Drove in my blue pick-up(never owned a pick-up, nor blue car).Got there, Stevie was acting up(I nor anyone intervened); I was constantly peeling "garlic" bulbs; another lady kept, shuffling the "peals" containers. We started home, it became dark; I sank in and out of total blindness; when could see, blinded by head-lights; stopped at intersecion, asked directions; told turn around; headed back, and I woke up. I was never so terrified in my life: thought sure we were going to be killed in accident. HELP!!!!!!

  1. Sorry you had such an awful dream. I cannot interpret dreams, but i do know a thing or two about symbolism.

Garlic seems to stand out as one of them. Dreaming of garlics signifies your practicality  and sensibility in matters of the heart; you look for security over love.  To dream that you are blind, represents your refusal to see the truth or your lack of awareness to a problem. Perhaps you are rejecting something about yourself or your situation.

Dreaming yourself driving a truck may be a metaphor of a load you are are carrying.

Try to tie the lose ends and see if this helps you.

    Happy dreams next time!

  2. probably has to do with some of the pain meds you might be on.   don't eat cheese or chocolate before sleep.

  3. What you really wanted to do was share, and share you did… thanks for sharing.  I can’t interpret/analyze anything, I’m no psychologist.
